Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas
Justice Clarence Thomas
Justice Clarence Thomas was the second African-American appointed to the Supreme Court. Historically, he leans more conservative on the bench and was a controversial replacement for retired liberal Justice Thurgood Marshall who was known for his work during the Civil Rights movement. In 1994, Justice Thomas made a visit to Wingate College sharing his experiences in America, Washington D.C., and the Courts while briefly discussing the current views of ethics.
