the 14th dalai lama
His holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama, of Tibet was re-born in 1935 and since 1959 has lived in exile from fear of the Chinese invasion on the country of Tibet. In 1989, the Dalai Lama earned the Nobel Peace Prize for his non-violence stance during the liberation of Tibet. In 1995, he addressed Wingate College students and faculty on religion, motivation, and actions of life.
