Brian Rogers
Brian Rogers joined the staff of The Jesse Helms Center in 2004 after working as executive director of the Defenders of Property Rights, based in Washington, D.C. Rogers served as The Helms Center’s Chief Operating Officer before assuming the role of President in June 2019.
During his time with The Helms Center, Rogers has managed multiple facets of the organization, including the development of the innovative online curriculum, Free Enterprise Now®.
Rogers’ prior roles include working for Century Communications, Inc. and working as the director of special projects for the Leadership Institute in Washington, D.C. Rogers is a graduate of Wingate University and began his policy-focused work with an internship with Senator Helms in 1993.
Rogers has a Bachelor of Arts from Wingate University and is a 2009 graduate of the E.A. Morris Fellowship Program. He and his wife Catherine have four children, Ashley, Sarah, James and Sam.
